Beer Batter (Fish fry optional)

Ingredients:
1 cup all purpose flour
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp paprika
2 tsp seasoned salt
1 large egg
1 ⅓ cups beer
- Lager (I have Spaten on hand)
Directions:
To make the beer batter, whisk together the flour, garlic powder, paprika and seasoned salt. Stir in the lightly beaten egg, then gradually whisk in the beer until the batter forms and is no longer lumpy.
If frying fish (for fish and chips), preheat the oil to 375, coat the filets in flour, and then coat with the batter before frying for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown.
